John Lindsey will deliver a weather talk in Cambria as part of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary’s series in May.

John Lindsey, PG&E meteorologist and weather columnist for The Cambrian and The Tribune, will give the third lecture in the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary’s free series of presentations in May.

The lecture starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 20, in the new Cambria Grammar School, 3223 Main St., between the intersections of Eton Road and Highway 1/Ardath Drive.

Lindsey’s topic? Of course … it’s “Let’s Talk About the Weather,” and what to expect and prepare for in a time of ever-changing climate conditions.

Drought, changing ocean temperatures and weather patterns are common topics of conversation these days. Lindsey’s presentation gives North Coasters an opportunity to chat about the weather with an expert.

The final lecture in the series, May 27, will be Joe Burnett’s talk on a newly released flock of condors in Cambria. That presentation also will be at the hilltop grammar school.
