Rosemary Pisciotta’s paintings will be on display through May 31 at the Cambria Library, 1043 Main St.

Pisciotta works in acrylic, oil, watercolor, and mixed media. Her work is featured in private and business collections, and she has been honored at many juried shows.

Born and raised in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, Pisciotta became interested in painting, she jokingly says, from birth.

During her early married years, Pisciotta lived in New Orleans, later moving to the Los Angeles area in Palos Verdes Estates. She began her art training at LSU on the Gulf Coast and resumed her art education at Harbor College after moving to Los Angeles. Upon retiring to Cambria, she enrolled in art classes at Cuesta College. Throughout her life, she has attended workshops conducted by many nationally known artists.

The Cambria Library is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
