No injuries or damage were reported from a small flurry of three earthquakes near Cambria on Monday, according to area officials contacted by The Cambrian.
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded the strongest quake in the series as a magnitude-3.1 at 9:25 p.m. According to Caltech, the quake was centered about 18 miles northwest of Cambria, at a depth of about 5 miles.
That’s roughly the same area where two micro-temblors were recorded earlier in the day, a magnitude-1.5 quake at 6:55 p.m. and a magnitude-1.6 tremor at 2:10 a.m.
