Emergency card provides key contact info to Cambrians
It’s so easy to discard or disregard inserts that arrive in the mail with utility and other bills. But be sure to save the turquoise-green-and-white 4-by-9-inch card that shared the envelope with your recent Cambria Community Services District billing.
Then put that card someplace where you can find it quickly and effortlessly in an emergency, because those are the situations the card is designed to help ease.
The Cambria Fire Safe Focus Group and the county FireSafe Council provided the mailer, which includes emergency access information to fire departments, Caltrans, Red Cross, the county Office of Emergency Services and links to weather updates and earthquake information.
Copies of the cards are available at the Cambria Fire Station, 2850 Burton Drive, or at the Focus Group meetings, held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the fire station.
Of course, if you see or are in an accident, see a fire, or have medical or other emergency, call 911.
