October HART Cat of the Month: Hamilton

“I am not throwing away my shot.” Like his Broadway musical namesake, Hamilton seizes opportunities — to play, to cuddle and to be groomed. Though FIV-positive, Hamilton, at  4½, is going strong. With an indoors-only life (or with outdoor visits to a secure yard), he should have a long, busy future.

Cat of the Month adoption fees are half price. HART is open noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday at 2638 Main St. 927-7377, www.slohart.org.
