Cayucos enchiladas feed community youth coffers

The Cayucos Lions Club is offering a 2-for-1 deal: enchiladas and a way to help that community’s youths.

The club’s ninth annual enchilada sale is being offered through Oct. 10. Enchiladas are available for preorder only and can be picked up from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 22 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 360 Park Ave. in Cayucos.

Beef, chicken or cheese enchiladas are available in the following packages: Two for $8, a tray of 12 for $40, or a tray of 24 for $75. Proceeds will benefit community projects, including swimming lessons for all Cayucos Elementary School students; Hardie Park Pool equipment; high school scholarships; art programs; Mutt Mitts to keep beaches clean; and Junior Lifeguard scholarships.
