San Simeon water changes on agenda

San Simeon residents and entrepreneurs can learn more soon about some proposed changes to mandatory conservation measures imposed by their services district.

The San Simeon Community Services District will hold a public hearing on an ordinance that would amend and restate the district’s water conservation plan establishing those regulations, which would include the description of penalties for violations.

The hearing will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, in the Cavalier Banquet Room, 250 San Simeon Ave. The public may make oral comments or present them in written form.

The ordinance describes the regulations imposed if the district declares Stage 1, Stage 2 or Stage 3 water shortage conditions.

The complete document is available for review at the district office, 111 Pico Ave., San Simeon.
