Good news on People’s Kitchen, Cuesta College, Coastal Performing Arts Foundation
Cuesta College
As part of a $20,000 donation from PG&E to Cuesta College, $5,000 went toward the college’s Edúcate – Sí Se Puede Conference to benefit local Latino students.
The annual conference drew about 300 county high school seniors to hear motivational Hispanic speakers and learn about higher education opportunities.
Three Cuesta College programs also will benefit from the $20,000 grant: academic peer tutors, athletics and SkillsUSA.

Coastal Performing Arts Foundation is the recipient of $1,250 thanks to a grant from Central Coast Funds for Children.
CPAF is home to Coastal Chamber Youth Ballet, Coastal Youth Theater and Beyond Boundaries, an outreach program for children with special needs.
The grant will allow the foundation to offset operating costs so the foundation can offer benefit performances free of charge.
