Good news about Cal Poly Rotaract club and King David’s Masonic Lodge

King David’s Lodge, No. 209 F &AM in San Luis Obispo recently honored three firefighters from local departments for outstanding service to their communities.

The honorees were Brandon Kato, an engineer/paramedic for the Morro Bay Fire Department; Capt. Mike DeLeo of Cal Fire/County Fire; and William Nason, a firefighter/paramedic for the San Luis Obispo City Fire Department.

A $2,500 donation in honor of the firefighters was made to the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.

Each honoree received framed certificates of appreciation at the Masons’ awards banquet in San Luis Obispo.
