Good news about French Hospital Medical Center Foundation and the Senior Nutrition Program
San Luis Obispo
The French Hospital Medical Center Foundation was recently named Foundation of the Year at the third annual Dignity Health Philanthropy Phillie Awards recently held in Anaheim.
The Foundation earned the honor based on results in categories that include: lower cost per dollar raised; well-balanced fundraising programs; innovation in fundraising practices; and a significant increase in fundraising revenue over the previous fiscal year.
Templeton
At the Senior Nutrition Program’s Night of a Million Meals fundraiser held in May, Ian McPhee of McPhee’s restaurant in Templeton donated a five-course dinner with wine pairings as a live auction item. Mike and Debi Lemos of Lemos Pet Supply purchased the item and then donated it back to the Senior Nutrition Program.
Senior clients of the program and their volunteer drivers were treated to a special evening, courtesy of McPhee and the Lemoses.
