Kennedy Club Fitness, with four locations in San Luis Obispo County, recently raised $5,700 to benefit the Veterans Express shuttle.

The Veterans Express is operated by Ride-On, which provides transportation to appointments and services for up to 180 local veterans.

The funds were raised through a companywide membership drive and silent auction with the help of organizers, members and media sponsors.

For more information, phone Ride-On Transportation at 541-8747.
