Morro Bay
A Full Deployment Oil Spill Drill was recently held in Morro Bay at Pacific Wildlife Care and The Marine Mammal Center.
The drill, organized by the Oiled Wildlife Care Network and its member partners, was conducted to test the readiness of the Morro Bay region to provide wildlife response in the event of an oil spill.
Pacific Wildlife Care and The Marine Mammal Center would be the primary centers to aid oiled wildlife, including seabirds and small mammals.
Nineteen partner organizations from around California were represented at the drill.
