Good news about Coastal Performing Arts Foundation and the SLO Wine Country Association

The Rite Aid Foundation’s charitable giving program, KidCents, has awarded the Coastal Performing Arts Foundation $12,500 for participating in the foundation’s Big Hearts Give Challenge.
KidCents was developed by the foundation to provide Rite Aid customers with an opportunity to help the kids in their communities by rounding up their in-store or online purchases to the nearest dollar and giving their change to the charity.
San Luis Obispo
The San Luis Obispo Wine Country Association has announced the addition of three newly elected members to its all-volunteer board of directors.
The newly elected board members are June McIvor, general manager for Tolosa Winery, treasurer; Fintan Du Fresne, winemaker for Chamisal Vineyards, secretary; and Coby Parker-Garcia, winemaker for Claiborne & Churchill Winery, vice president.
As part of the six-member board, which also includes Brian Talley, Lindy Love-Hanning and Jean-Pier Wolff, the new members will hold two-year terms.
