Good news for CAPSLO and Caleb Cabello

San Luis Obispo

Creative Athletics Tennis recently held its Feel the Love mixed doubles tennis tournament with 10 local teams competing in the A/B division and four teams in the B/C division.

Julia McKenzie and Clay Schroder won a close set, winning 7-5 in the A/B division. Kathryn Rogers and Steve Kadin won the B/C division.

The event raised $200 to benefit Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County’s free senior health screening.

Paso Robles

Caleb Cabello of Paso Robles has been named to the dean’s list at Virginia Military Institute.

To be eligible for the list, a cadet must have a term grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and no grade below C.

Cabello is a freshman studying mechanical engineering.

He is the son of Katherine and Carlos Cabello III of Paso Robles.
