The Templeton High School Talon Marching Band and Color Guard completed a successful 2015 season competing against high school bands throughout California.

In addition to finishing first place overall and first place drum major at Atascadero’s Colony Days, they took first place at the Foothill Band Review in Pleasanton and the Tiger Band Festival in Lemoore, Division 2A.

They also competed at the Selma Rotary Band Festival, taking second place in Division 6A, which is open to larger high schools.

They are led by Director David Landers.

The Senior Nutrition Program recently received a grant of $4,000 from the Cambria Community Council.

The funds will help the program continue to provide free, hot, nutritious meals to seniors in Cambria, both at its dining site and for deliveries to the homebound.
