Good news about Girl Scout Troop 40021, Jan Northington and Steve Cass

Girl Scout Troop 40021 and Jan Northington, a volunteer for Days for Girls, an international program that provides sustainable hygiene products to girls in underdeveloped countries, recently teamed up to sew hygiene kits made from donated items.
The latest donation of kits, which consisted of underwear, washcloths, cotton fabric, thread and gallon-sized freezer bags, were delivered to girls in Uganda, Africa.
Donations of items listed above will be collected throughout February.

Paso Robles
Paso Artsfest, a multiday festival celebrating visual and musical art held every year, has announced its honoree for the 2016 event.
Steve Cass, owner of Cass Winery, has been honored for his many contributions to the arts in Paso Robles, including years of development and promotion of the Paderewski Festival and planning an upcoming Fourth of July concert.
Cass has supported Paso Artsfest through sponsorship, catering and wine donations.
Now in its eighth year, Paso Artsfest takes place Memorial Day weekend.
