Good news about the Cal Poly Retired Faculty and Staff Club, Dignity Health Central Coast and Opera San Luis Obispo

Dignity Health Central Coast recently announced it has awarded $234,235 in grant funding to five community nonprofit partnerships in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties. Representatives from each organization attended a breakfast where they were presented with funds that will help aid the health and human services they provide to county residents.
Organizations that received funds include the SLO Noor Foundation, 5 Cities Homeless Coalition, Community Counseling Center, Alliance for Pharmaceutical Access Inc. and the Food Bank of Santa Barbara County.
San Luis Obispo
Opera San Luis Obispo has been awarded $800 from Central Coast Funds for Children.
The grant will support Opera SLO’s two-week summer camp program, which offers kids from ages 8 to16 the opportunity to experience all facets of the performing arts along with traditional outdoor and camping activities.
