San Luis Obispo

Local jeweler Danyelle Forbes of From the Ashes Designs recently presented a donation of $2,500 to Lifewater International. Forbes uses salvageable copper pieces to create a line of jewelry, with proceeds dedicated to making a global impact. Her donation will help provide 62 people in Africa and Asia with water for life, according to an email from Lifewater.

Lifewater is a San Luis Obispo-based Christian nonprofit dedicated to serving vulnerable children and families through integrated water, sanitation and hygiene programs.
