Good news for SLO Noor Foundation and DANA Cultural Center

The Central Coast Women’s League donated $16,000 to the San Luis Obispo Noor Foundation to support its work of bringing medical care to the underserved.
The money was raised at the league’s annual Bingo for Breast Cancer event.
Sandy Woolley, fundraiser chairwoman of the league, recently presented the donation to Dr. Ahmad Nooristani, founder and executive director of the foundation.
Nipomo
DANA Cultural Center in Nipomo has been accepted to the Museum Assessment Program for a Collections Stewardship Assessment.
The assessment program is supported through a cooperative agreement between the American Alliance of Museums and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. It is designed to help the center achieve professional standards and best practices in collections management.
