Good news about Academy of Creative Theatre and Central Coast Funds for Children

The San Luis Obispo Little Theatre has received a $2,500 grant from The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County, funded by the Holser Educational Fund for the Performing Arts.

The grant will be used to pay for scholarships for students participating in the theater’s Academy of Creative Theatre (ACT) educational programs throughout the 2015-16 season.

Additional funding for ACT scholarships has been provided by Rabobank, Ann and Lou Robinson and an anonymous donor.

SLO County

Central Coast Funds for Children recently announced that in 2015 it has awarded a total of $75,000 in grants to 34 agencies throughout the county.

Central Coast Funds for Children is a nonprofit organization dedicated to support local agencies that serve children in need.
