Nine-year-old Genevieve Leroux recently raised $600 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, marking her third year of fundraising for the foundation.

For her fundraiser, Genevieve made pink ribbons, pink cookies, pink lemonade and collected donations from various locations in the county.

Genevieve started fundraising in 2013 when her grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. To date, she has raised $1,403.12 for the foundation.

“I want to help the scientists who are helping my grandma, and women like her, win their fight against breast cancer,” Genevieve said.
