Central Coast
Employees at CoastHills Credit Union donated more than 220 presents during its companywide Holiday Gift Drive. The gifts were delivered to Boys and Girls Clubs in Oceano, Guadalupe, Santa Maria and Lompoc.
The CoastHills Culture Advisory Team collected new, unwrapped presents, gift cards and stuffed stockings for local youths.
Paso Robles
Over the holidays, local certified public accounting firm Glenn Burdette delivered more than 300 pounds of dried beans to the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County’s warehouse in Paso Robles.
The beans were part of the firm’s Web series called The Bean Bag Series earlier this year. The bean bag used in all nine videos was filled with bags of real beans, which will be used to feed hungry families in the county.
