Good news about Loaves and Fishes, ECHO and SLO Holiday Parade winners

Atascadero

St. William’s Catholic Church in Atascadero recently held its annual Holiday Bazaar and donated $5,000 in proceeds to two local charities.

Loaves and Fishes and ECHO homeless shelter in Atascadero each received $2,500.

All the items sold at the bazaar were handmade by parishioners throughout the year.

San Luis Obispo

The San Luis Obispo Downtown Association recently announced the winners of its 40th annual Holiday Parade.

The 2015 winners are:

▪ Most Entertaining: SLO Juggling and Unicycling Club.

▪ Most Creative: Pacheco Elementary School.

▪ Best in Theme (There’s No Place Like SLO): San Luis Garbage Co.
