Good news about The Mortgage House and Caring Callers
SLO County
In celebration of 20 years in business, local lender The Mortgage House recently established a $20,000 initial endowment that will be managed by The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County. The lender will continue to add a contribution from every loan it closes so the endowment will grow indefinitely.
The Mortgage House will award gifts from the fund to organizations that benefit affordable housing or provide educational support to people in need in San Luis Obispo and northern Santa Barbara counties.
Arroyo Grande
St. Barnabas Thrift Shop in Arroyo Grande recently donated $1,267 to Caring Callers to support its program that provides free weekly in-home visits to homebound seniors.
Caring Callers is one of 12 recipients to receive support from the thrift shop’s community outreach program.
