Good news for the Children’s Resource Network and Salvation Army

Atascadero Kiwanis Club recently donated $11,000 to Atascadero Loaves and Fishes. The funds were raised from the Joe DiDomenico Memorial Golf Tournament sponsored jointly by Atascadero Kiwanis Club and Chalk Mountain Golf Course. Shell Beach

The Children’s Resource Network is the recent recipient of a $1,608 donation from The Cliffs Resort in Shell Beach.

The money was raised through patron donations and the restaurant’s Karmic Pizza Thursdays, with 50 cents from every happy-hour drink being donated to a charity.

Morro Bay

Quota International of Morro Bay recently presented a $300 donation and bags of canned and nonperishable food to the Morro Bay Salvation Army.

The club also sent care boxes to troops overseas.
