Jack’s Helping Hand, a local nonprofit organization that provides support to children with cancer and special needs, is celebrating recent donations from Cal Poly, Cuesta College and Paulding Middle School students.
Cal Poly Greek Life raised more than $3,400 for the nonprofit during Greek Week in May. Cal Poly Greek organizations teamed up to compete in a series of games to raise money for local nonprofits.
A few groups of students from Cuesta College’s communications class used their creative skills to make special signs and bags for children attending Camp Reach for the Stars, the nonprofit’s annual summer camp in Cambria for children with cancer.
