Good news for San Gabriel Elementary School, Wilshire Community Services

Thanks to generous donations from local businesses, every student at San Gabriel Elementary School in Atascadero received a green T-shirt depicting the schools Gator mascot. The whole school gathered for a photo in their new shirts.

Rob Railsback of State Farm Insurance recently donated $500 toWilshire Community Services’ local Good Neighbor Program.

The program serves older adults in the community who need help with transportation, grocery shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, yard work and some minor home repairs.

Jen Kaplan of the Good Neighbor Program received the check on National Good Neighbor Day, in which community members were asked to do good neighborly acts throughout the county. Railsback not only donated to the program, he also delivered cookies to his office neighbors as well.
