Surfing for Hope raises $70,000 to help kids with family members fighting cancer

Surfing for Hope Foundation recently raised more than $70,000 at its sixth annual Surfing for Hope Benefit Weekend.

Funds help support the foundation’s Pure Stoke surf camps for youths with family members affected by cancer as well as various local cancer resource organizations, including the Hearst Cancer Resource Center. Funds raised at the SFH Foundation’s annual benefit weekend were matched personally by Steve and Barbara Hearst.
