Snails compete in Olympic games at Nipomo Library

During the Snail Olympics, sponsored by University of California Ag and Natural Resources’ 4-H SLO Scientist Youth Development Program, science and snails are combined for activities such as races and other challenges.

The program allows students to observe and predict the snails’ behavior.
