Fire destroys Paso Robles home, displaces five
Five Paso Robles residents were displaced after a Wednesday afternoon fire destroyed their home.
Fire crews responded about 4:45 p.m. to a blaze on the 4800 block of Farousse Way.
The fire started in a garage and extended to a nearby house, according to Cal Fire Capt. Brent Lee.
Firefighters from six agencies including Cal Fire, the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services and the Templeton Fire Department worked to prevent the flames from spreading to vegetation, Lee said.
The home and garage are expected to be total losses, according to Cal Fire. Red Cross assistance was requested for five adults.
No injuries have been reported.
