Morro Bay wants ideas on how to link Embarcadero, downtown
On Wednesday, Morro Bay residents will get the chance to provide input on a plan to entice more visitors downtown.
The city will seek the public’s feedback on plans to strengthen the connection between the waterfront and downtown areas at a community forum.
Those interested can stop by the Veterans Memorial Hall, 209 Surf St., from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. to learn more about various ideas.
A revamp of the Embarcadero and the Centennial Stairway, widened sidewalks, enhanced pedestrian areas and new parking and circulation options have all been proposed.
To learn more, contact Joan Gargiulo, Morro Bay assistant planner, at jgargiulo@morrobayca.gov, or call 805-772-6270.
