Montaña de Oro gets new plants, trail maintenance
More than 70 volunteers turned out Saturday to celebrate Earth Day by working on improvement projects at Montaña de Oro State Park.
The volunteers, more than half of whom were PG&E employees, planted native plants, performed trail maintenance and completed other projects.
The event was part of PG&E’s Month of Service, a program in which the company selects community service projects in each local community so employees can volunteer and make a difference.
