Drivers can expect some delays at night along part of Santa Rosa Street (Highway 1) through San Luis Obispo as a project to repair and resurface the road starts Monday.
Lane closures are set to take place between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., Monday through Friday, on Santa Rosa Street from Walnut Street to north of Westmont Avenue as a project to repair and resurface the highway gets underway, according to a news release from Caltrans. Delays shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes; one lane in both directions will remain open at all times.
The contractor for the $330,000 project is Pavement Coatings Co. of Jurupa Valley. It is expected to be completed by the end of May, according to Caltrans.
