Highway 227 drivers should be on the lookout for nighttime road work south of San Luis Obispo starting Sunday.
The $1.3 million resurfacing project, which resumed on Monday, is taking place on Highway 227 from Price Canyon Road to north of Buckley Road, according to a California Department of Transportation news release.
Overnight work, which will occur from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., will begin Sunday and continue through Friday. Drivers will encounter lane closures with one-way reversing traffic controls. Delays of up to 10 minutes are expected.
Intermittent daytime closures may be possible at the intersections of Highway 227 and Price Canyon Road and Los Ranchos and Buckley roads.

Electronic message boards will alert drivers to the lane closures. Work is expected to wrap up in May.
