Highway 41 paving to cause delays for SLO County drivers

San Luis Obispo County drivers will encounter traffic delays on Highway 41 north of Cholame starting Monday because of road paving.

One lane of Highway 41, just north of Highway 46, will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to a Caltrans news release.

Drivers will encounter one-way traffic control and can expect delays of up to 15 minutes. Electronic message boards will alert drivers to the lane closure.

First Solar is building left turn lanes near the entrance to its new facility, which requires that the northbound lanes near Turkey Flat Road be paved.
