Roadwork resumes on Highway 227 near SLO

Lane closures will start Monday on Highway 227 as a resurfacing project resumes from Price Canyon Road to north of Buckey Road, near the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport.

Drivers will encounter lane closures on Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. and overnight from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., according to a news release from Caltrans. Delays are not expected to exceed 10 minutes. The project is expected to wrap up in May.

The $1.3 million project includes repairs to Highway 227 (Broad Street) in various locations between Price Canyon Road and the airport, striping the on the roadway at Crestmont Drive and improvements to both sides of the East Corral De Piedra Bridge south of Price Canyon Road, according to Caltrans.
