3-car crash causes southbound Hwy. 101 traffic snarl

A three-vehicle accident Wednesday caused delays for morning commuters driving on Highway 101 in North County.

The collision occurred about 8 a.m. on southbound Highway 101, just south of Tassajara Creek Road near the top of the Cuesta Grade, CHP Officer Federico Martinez said. No motorists were injured in the accident, Martinez said, but it blocked traffic in the left, faster lane, causing a backup to Santa Rosa Road, just south of Atascadero.
