Cal Poly to hold its Tomato Mania plant sale

More than 70 varieties of tomato plants will be available Friday and Saturday at the annual Tomato Mania plant sale at the Cal Poly Plant Shop.

The sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days, offering moonglow, beefsteak, shady lady and other tomato varieties. The student-run event, sponsored by the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences, is directed by six students.

The Poly Plant Shop is located in Building 48 on Via Carta Road. Metered and campus parking will be available Friday, when regular parking regulations will be enforced. Campus parking will be free for customers on Saturday.
