SLO Transit looking for feedback on shaping future bus system
San Luis Obispo Transit officials are looking for feedback on an update of the Short Range Transit Plan, which will help shape SLO Transit’s fixed-route system for the next five to seven years.
A public meeting will be held April 5 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the San Luis Obispo City-County Library community room, 995 Palm St., where the SLO Transit manager will present the plan and proposed system changes, according to a news release.
The draft plan and working papers are available for the public to review at slotransit.org, at the library, at the city clerk’s office at 990 Palm St., and at the public works department at 919 Palm St.
Public comments may be submitted online, emailed to slotransit@slocity.org, faxed to 781-7563 or mailed to SLO Transit at 919 Palm St., San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. Comments will be accepted through May 6. For more information, call SLO Transit at 594-8090.
