Paso Robles Harvest Marathon registration open for runners
Registration is open for the seventh annual Paso Robles Harvest Marathon, which benefits Paso Robles High School athletics.
The event, which will be at Le Vigne Winery on Oct. 30, is sponsored by the Paso Robles Rotary and the Paso Robles Bearcat Boosters, a nonprofit organization supporting about 680 student-athletes competing in 23 sports at the high school, according to a news release from the Paso Robles school district.
The event offers marathon, half-marathon and 5K courses, with all runners receiving a shirt, swag bag, free race photo and breakfast. The event is a certified Boston Marathon qualifier and part of the California Half and Full Marathon series.
The marathon will start at 7 a.m., followed by the half-marathon at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K at 9 a.m. The marathon and half courses are on paved roads that wind through northeastern wineries of Paso Robles; the 5K loops through the vineyard surrounding Le Vigne Winery.
