Grover Beach fireworks stand applications available in April

The permit process to sell “safe and sane fireworks” in Grover Beach for the Fourth of July will open April 12 and run through May 31.

Only Grover Beach-based nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply. The organization’s principal and permanent meeting place must have been located and established in Grover Beach for at least three years. A maximum of four fireworks stands will be permitted within city limits, and no organization may obtain more than one permit.

Applications are available at the City Clerk’s Office, 154 S. Eighth St., during normal business hours, as well as at www.grover.org.
