Caltrans to hold Pismo bridge repair meeting

Caltrans will hold a public meeting Wednesday for those interested in repairs to the southbound on-ramp at Highway 101 from Price Street in Pismo Beach.

The meeting will be at the Pismo Beach Veterans Memorial Building at 760 Bello St.

The project will improve the structure piers beneath the on-ramp and protect the banks of Pismo Creek, according to a Caltrans news release.

An initial study concluded the repair project will not significantly affect the quality of the environment. The study can be reviewed at the Caltrans District 5 office at 50 Higuera St. in San Luis Obispo; the Arroyo Grande Library at 800 W. Branch St.; and the Shell Beach Main Library at 230 Leeward Ave.

The public may also submit written comments until April 9 to Jason Wilkinson, Department of Transportation, 50 Higuera St., San Luis Obispo CA 93449.
