Nipomo CSD awards $2.5 million contract for reservoir
The Nipomo Community Services District Board of Directors awarded the bid for its Joshua Road pump station reservoir to Pacific Hydrotech Corp., of Perris, Calif., for $2.5 million at its meeting Wednesday.
The 500,000-gallon reservoir is part of the district’s supplemental water project and will help increase how much water the district can pipe in from Santa Maria, according to a district news release. The project will increase delivery capacity to at least 800 acre-feet a year.
The board also authorized two task orders: one with MNS Engineers Inc. for construction management services in the amount of $466,932 and the other with AECOM for engineering services during construction in the amount of $133,985, according to the news release.
The project is scheduled to begin in April and set to be completed by January 2017.
