New traffic lights to be installed in Nipomo
Nipomo will be getting two new stoplights in March, at the intersection of Willow and Pomeroy roads, and at Thompson Avenue and Titan Way.
The San Luis Obispo County Department of Public Works will begin installing the traffic signals March 7, according to a county news release. A minimum of one lane of traffic will be open to the public during installation, and the public should expect delays of about 15 minutes.
Construction is expected to be complete by mid-June.
The project is funded by the Regional State Highway Account, Urban State High Account, road impact fees from the Blacklake Golf Resort development and county road funds.
