Paso Robles man killed in motorcycle crash near Coalinga

A Paso Robles man was killed when he lost control of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and crashed east of Coalinga on Saturday, the CHP reported Monday.

The man was identified as Ronnie Allen Ochoa, 45.

According to the CHP, Ochoa was southbound on Sutter Avenue from Jayne Avenue about 7:30 p.m. when he tried to bring the motorcycle to a sudden stop and lost control. Ochoa was thrown from the motorcycle and slammed into the pavement.

He was rushed to Coalinga Regional Medical Center but died of his injuries.
