Person suffers leg injuries after accident on Oceano Dunes
A person was taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon with leg injuries after an accident on the Oceano Dunes, according to a Cal Fire spokeswoman.
About 2:10 p.m., dispatch received a call about the accident. The injured person may have broken both legs, the spokeswoman said. She did not have any more information about the injuries or the person.
The injured person was transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center.
Cal Fire, State Parks Officials and San Luis Ambulance responded to the accident. A helicopter was initially dispatched, but canceled, the spokeswoman said.
