Rock slide blocks part of Hwy. 41

A rock slide has blocked part of Highway 41 between Atascadero and Morro Bay.

The CHP had closed the southbound lane of the road just south of Cerro Alto just after 7 a.m., according to the CHP website. At that time, rocks were still coming down onto the roadway.

The CHP continued to direct traffic as crews cleaned up the debris.
