SLO County grant deadline approaches for nonprofits

The deadline for San Luis Obispo County grant applications for local nonprofit organizations is approaching at the end of January.

Nonprofit groups that promote the optimal health, stability, independence and well-being of county residents can apply for a grant offered annually by San Luis Obispo County, according to a news release.

Applications for grant funding are due by 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29.

The Community Based Organizations and Preventative Health Grants are awarded to local programs that support and complement the county’s health and human services departments, the news release said. Both public and private nonprofit organizations may apply.
