The Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market has been canceled due to rainy weather, the San Luis Obispo Downtown Association posted on its website Thursday afternoon.

“We hope to see you next Thursday where our vendors will be decking out their booths for our Holiday Booth Decorating Contest,” the post reads.

The Classic Carousel in Mission Plaza is also not in operation due to the weather, but Santa’s House is open until 7 p.m.

The farmers’ market is held every Thursday on Higuera Street between Osos and Nipomo streets from 6 to 9 p.m. except on Thanksgiving Day or when it’s raining.
