San Luis Obispo looking for volunteers for advisory bodies

San Luis Obispo has several openings on two of its advisory boards: three openings on the new Administrative Review Board and one spot on the Tourism Business Improvement District Board.

In addition, the city is accepting applications for all of its volunteer advisory boards and commissions, with completed applications for 2016 appointments due by 5 p.m. Jan. 22.

Many of those bodies may have openings after some board members’ terms end in March or June, though current advisory body members are sometimes eligible to reapply for a seat. Appointments are made by the San Luis Obispo City Council.

Applications are available at slocity.org/volunteer or in person at the San Luis Obispo City Clerk’s office, room 4 in City Hall at 990 Palm St. For more information, call 781-7100.
